Not all men.

 "Not all men!"

- Yes, not all men, but enough that every girl is terrified of talking to that boy on the bus or walking past that group of guys on the street. Every girl is afraid of walking late at night, or even walking alone in the morning and someone following her. Every girl has referred to someone as a "creep" and knows to not accept anything from someone she doesn't know.

Not all men.

But enough men that all women are now afraid of most men. Its gotten so bad that we are afraid of telling you that we are afraid. We cant ask you to please stop talking to us. Because if we do we run the risk of being labelled and then blamed for murders and rapes in which we are the victims. So we speak to you with body language that we hope you'll understand but you ignore. We cross our legs and look out the window and wear giant headphones in the hope you'll see them and get our message, our signs that subtly say "Don't talk to me." But you insist on ignoring these because you have it in your head that our body language doesn't mean anything. That our bodies are not ours.

Not all men.

You can start saying that when all women stop being afraid. When every man stops dismissing women when they open up about this issue and saying "Not all men".
