Strong Indian Women.

 They are not given nearly enough credit, for laying down their lives, for pushing against British rule and for going to battle because they believed in this country and its people. They believed in liberty, in Indian rule; and they fought tooth and nail for it. They showed the world that Indian women are something to be in awe of. That we are something to be feared, to be revered. They were the supporting pillars of the fight - always out of sight, and yet without them, we never would have made it 74 years ago this night. They went through some of the worst events a person could go through, and yet they pushed forward because they knew, that in the end, it would all be worth it to see British rule overturned and to watch Bharat take back what was rightfully its. Let's be honest, they shaped this country and its future, and it is because of women like them that we are free. They were women of steel, with a fire in their eye, blood on their saree and a spark that could never die. Let us celebrate the women who fought to see a brighter future for their country.

 TW: mentions of sexual assault and rape He kept on asking her. She kept saying no. And because no is apparently not an answer, he grabbed her wrist. She pulled away, and he yells "B*tch!". Because saying no is wrong. Why would she say "no" to him, a person she doesn't like, doesn't know?  She opened up about her experience. She talked about how he assaulted her, and what did she get?
